After I published my entry my daughter called me at work. I read her a paragraph and she commented that my blog has gotten political. She is right. My Blog was initially created to talk about the wedding and then progressed to family happenings and then I somehow got political. I want this blog to be something that my grandchildren will read so that when I am gone they will understand who I was and what I was about. I want my memories to be kept here. I want my heart to be on each page whether I am funny or not. I will continue to comment on what is happening within my world but I will be writing more about me and mine. I will write about the past that is still real in my heart. I will introduce my future family to the ones that have long gone before my memory gets dim. Thank you Beck for the wake up call.

Shut up, Becky. :-)
Okay, okay, I guess she's right, but who else can write a political rant and include the Apostle Paul, and "pussy" in the same blog? Only Debbie! And THAT'S what we love. I love every post -- political or not, because it's written by my crazy Aunt Debbie. I only wish you'd write a book.
Another note to Becky, who CARES what your mother writes for her "grandchildren to read" -- she's got no grandchildren from YOU! :-) (Yeah, I got the same pressure from everyone around me but Ben and I held out 10 years before we had kids.)
I love to read your blogs because it is obviously part of you , that you are sharing. I feel like I've known you for years, partly because of who you are in person, but mostly because of what you write in your blogs. Life is not mushy, gushy, ewy gooey. Well sometimes it is ,but mostly it's just annoying sometimes. And it's either rant or go crazy. Your writing is a gift to me , Thank you, Marty
Debbbie, your words to Tiger were loaded with wisdom to bad he did not realize what he had or who he was before this tragic episode. Maybe Elin can still have enough love in her heart to forgive if not make a decision after time, prayer and guidance from the people you love the most.
