When I lived in Texas I worked for Humana Hospital as their Emergency Department Manager. I loved my job and the support I received from the hospital for my child abuse/molestation education project. I gave lectures to children and adults about identifying child abuse/molestation victims and how we can protect our greatest resource, our children. I stopped lecturing when I moved to Louisiana but the subject was never far from my mind.
We are taken over by the news of all the rioting in the country. We are being led like sheep by the left leaning media and the true emergency is being buried. Quoted from the site of National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in the last 36 years they have received more than 5 MILLION calls for missing children. They state that of the nearly 26,300 runaways reported to NCMEC in 2019 that 1 in 6 were likely victims of child sex trafficking. That's approximately 4,383 children that are being trafficked last year alone. World wide the numbers a staggering. We are all aware of who Jeffery Epstein was. He was a pedophile who was convicted in 2008 for solicitation of an underage girl. He only served 13 months. He owned a private island in the Virgin Islands from 1998 to 2019. Locally the island was known as the Island of Sin and Pedophile Island. Bill Clinton was a frequent visitor as well as Andrew, Duke of York. Les Wexner the Victoria Secret Founder, was a frequent visitor. Jeffery had a mansion in New York that hosted many of the rich and famous including Clinton, the Duke, and the Saudi crown prince Mohammed bin Salman. After his conviction Bill Gates met with him several times to obtain money for Global Health. Jeffery had a private plane dubbed the Loita Express. Clinton was on it thru 26 trips. Clinton, Kevin Spacey, and Chris Tucker went on the plane to visit Africa touring HIV/AIDS project sites in 2002. You will recall that Spacey was accused of making unwanted advances to underage boys. Jeffery Epstein made a statement to James B. Stewart from the NYT that he knew "an astonishing number of rich, famous and powerful people and had the photos to prove it. He claimed to know embarrassing information about their sexual proclivities and.. drug use" . His past caught up with him and his final arrest was July 6, 2019. He "committed suicide" August 10, 2019 while in jail. Anyone who believes that he killed himself is delusional. He knew too much and was likely to plea bargain with his little black book. His "girlfriend" Ghislaine Maxwell has recently been arrested for recruiting and training girls for her boyfriend and his powerful friends. The whole thing reads like a horror story. People KNEW what was happening to all those girls. I hope they lay awake at night with the knowledge that they could have done something. I will be curious to see if Ghislaine makes it to court because she knows where the proverbial skeletons are buried. .
You all remember Harvey Weinstein? He was convicted of rape, found guilty and likely will die in prison. Over eighty woman came out against him. Many Hollywood elites came forward. Fame is a powerful aphrodisiac. These woman permitted his advances because of his power in the film industry. Since then many actors have been accused of inappropriate sexual advances. Women were up in arms #MeToo was viral. Parents of child actors delivered up their children like Thanksgiving turkeys to these corrupt agents and film makers. Those children were out of their league and many have come out as adults to expose what happened to them. They didn't disappear their faces were too well known. I still cannot listen to anything by Michael Jackson. That people find it "normal" that he had young boys visit with him and sleep in his bed is abhorrent. They got to play with all of his toys and got great presents. What kind of a mother thinks that is okay? Sorry/not sorry that he is dead. I pray for his victims.
But what about the average children , our children and grandchildren, those without desire for fame. What about the ones who because of their age and sex are sought after by certain men and women who feel that sex with children is normal and desired. There are groups that want to make sex with children legal. The North American Man Boy Love Association (NAMBLA) works to abolish age of consent laws. They are still active today.
A billion dollars a year make child sex trafficking worth the risk to many. What is being done? The internet is like a gold mine for child sex traffickers. The need to police what are children are looking at and taking part in is critical. The internet provides a worldwide marketing channel for the sale of not only children, but child pornography.
We need to train our babies how to be safe, we need to prosecute with life time penalties for human traffickers' and stop any public support to those that want the age of consent lowered. We need strict ENFORCED laws against the internet being used for the purpose of selling children. Finally any convicted pedophile should face the death penalty. After all they have murdered the innocence of our children for a sexual need they say is normal.
Above all we need ALL parents to say enough is enough and raise our voices because our children can't.
Parents and grandparents can no longer ignore what is happening and talk to our children. They need to educate themselves to identify the signs of abuse. They may not be able to prevent the first attack but they can the second. Parents need to have total control and oversight over their children's internet use despite trusting their kids. This is a war.
